POORTLAND has its own workshop, where 6 experienced metal workers are
responsible for production. It goes without saying that quality is always
at the centre. POORTLAND trains its employees during a period of at least
2 years, whereby the new employee becomes perfected in general metal
working, such as cutting, milling, turning, bending, cutting and
centrifuging, as well as different welding techniques.

During the construction of fencing and gate, the type of rust treatment
that will be applied is always taken into account.
POORTLAND uses only prime quality steel (RSt 37-2), which can always be
perfectly galvanised by its absence of silicon.
With hot dip galvanising, all hollow profiles are provided with aeration
holes; in the case of metallisation, all hollow profiles are hermetically
sealed by the use of welding.

ALUMINIUM GATES

The aluminium gates are being assembled in a seperate workshop.
During their construction there's no welding involved. All profiles
are assembled with stainless steel screws, which are invisible after
the assembly.
POORTLAND has obtained the exclusivity in the Benelux for the patented
aluminium profiles.

COVERED WITH WOOD GATES

After galvanising and powder painting the steel bearing structure,
it is being covered with CEDAR of the highest quality.
The KWAI CEDAR gate is unique with its invisible screws.
